Why Kulhad cannot tell you a payment arrived

Aakhri badlaav 3 September, 2026

A UPI payment from one person to another is between two banks. There is no callback to a third party, so nothing tells Kulhad that anything happened.

This is not a setting that can be turned on and it is not a feature that is coming. Payment companies get told because they are the ones being paid, and the money then moves on to whoever it is for, which is what a fee pays for and what a wait is. Kulhad is not in the middle, so there is nothing to be told.

What that means for you

  • Your bank is the record. Not the dashboard.
  • Nothing appears on your page until you say the money arrived.
  • Kulhad will never describe a payment as confirmed, because it has no way to know.

What that means for your supporter

They pay, they say they paid, and they see their message go up when you have checked. The receipt link they keep shows them the state of it without them having to ask you.

What you get instead of a notification

  • A four character code in the payment note, so a credit in your bank can be matched to a name and a message.
  • A pending list that holds claims until you deal with them.
  • A page that never shows a payment you have not seen with your own eyes.

The trade

Nothing is held, nothing is deducted, and the money is in your account within seconds of being sent. The cost is that you look in your bank app and press a button.
