How to share your page for the first time
Your page does nothing until somebody knows about it. The dashboard has a Share screen with everything ready to copy.
The three that do the most work
- Your bio. Instagram, YouTube, X, a WhatsApp about line. This is the one that keeps working after you have stopped thinking about it.
- A pinned post. Say what you are collecting for. "Support my work" gets less than "Saving for a mic so the recordings stop sounding like a tunnel".
- A printed QR, if people meet you in person. The Share screen has posters, an A5 standee that folds so the code faces both ways, a counter card and a shelf strip, all at print resolution.
Copying the link
The Share screen has a Copy link button and a Copy a message button. The second one puts a sentence around the link, which reads better in a group chat than a bare address.
The QR code
There are two.
- Normal opens your page. Somebody scans it with their phone camera, lands on your page, picks an amount and writes a message. Their payment carries a code you can match in your bank.
- Counter pays your UPI ID directly, with no amount and no message. It is for a stall or a live spot where nobody is going to fill in a form.
See Your QR code for which to print where.
What to expect
The first few come from people who already know you. Nothing arrives on your page until you approve it, so there is no risk in sharing early.
